Captain Jack Withdrawal Times
What each payout method actually takes from the moment you hit confirm — pending period included, verification included, no marketing arithmetic.
What Happens Between Confirm and Cash
Every casino quotes withdrawal times as if the clock starts when the money leaves the building. It does not. Between hitting confirm and seeing a credit there are three separate waits stacked on top of each other, and only the last one belongs to the payment method you chose. Once you can see all three, the numbers stop looking arbitrary.
The first is the pending period. Captain Jack Casino holds a withdrawal request for up to 24 hours before releasing it to the processor. During that window the money is still cancellable — one click and it goes back into your playable balance. That is a deliberate design and it is worth being honest about why it is there.
The second is verification, which only bites once. The first payout on any account triggers an identity and address check, and nothing moves until documents clear. Submitted at signup, this costs you nothing. Submitted when a payout is already queued, it adds one to three business days and occasionally more if a document is rejected for glare or a cropped edge.
The third is the rail itself, and that is where the differences in the table below live. Ethereum settles in minutes. Wallets take hours. Banks take days, because banks take days. None of it is the casino dragging its feet.
Pending — up to 24 hrs
Casino-side hold. Cancellable. Usually clears far faster than the stated ceiling; overnight requests are typically released the next morning.
Verification — first time only
ID, proof of address, proof of the payment method. Zero delay if done at signup, one to three business days if left until now.
The rail — 10 min to 3 days
Crypto in minutes, wallets in hours, Interac and cards in business days. This is the only part your method choice controls.
Every Payout Method and What It Really Takes
"Total realistic wait" is the pending period plus the rail, on a verified account, for a request placed on a weekday morning. Weekend requests on the bank rails push into Monday.

Wallets Are the Practical Fast Option
Ethereum is the fastest number on the page, but it is not the fastest answer for most people, because it assumes you already hold crypto and are happy to keep the payout in it. If the plan is to end up with Canadian dollars in a Canadian bank account, you have added a conversion step and an exchange withdrawal to the back of the process, and those are slower than everything they were meant to skip.
Wallets avoid that. Skrill, MuchBetter and Jeton all pay out inside 24 hours, and in our own requests the casino leg has usually finished the same evening. The money then sits in the wallet until you move it to your bank, which is where the wallet's own fee and its own two-to-three-day timeline appear. Nobody mentions that half.
So the honest framing is this: a wallet gets your winnings out of the casino fastest, and if you leave a standing balance there for future play, it is genuinely the quickest end to end. If every payout has to reach a chequing account, Interac's one-to-two business days is competitive once you count the wallet's onward transfer.
Skrill
Most consistent of the three. Highest ceiling at C$5,000, and the one we would use for a payout over C$2,000.
MuchBetter
Fastest to confirm on mobile, capped at C$3,000. Push notification lands the moment the casino releases.
Jeton
Same speed band, C$5,000 ceiling, but support is email-only so a stuck payout takes longer to chase.
Interac and Bank Payouts
Interac pays out in one to two business days, and the "business" part is doing real work in that sentence. A payout released at 4pm on a Friday is a Tuesday morning arrival, sometimes Wednesday if Monday is a statutory holiday — and Canada has enough provincial holidays that this catches people out. Request early in the week if the timing matters.
The amount arrives whole. No fee is deducted at either end for an incoming e-Transfer, so C$800 requested is C$800 deposited. That is a real advantage over the wallets, whose onward bank transfer usually costs something.
Bank wire exists for balances above the Interac ceiling, and it is the slowest option in the cashier at three to five business days plus your bank's incoming wire fee. It is arranged through support rather than the cashier. For most players, splitting a large payout into consecutive Interac transfers is faster and cheaper, and the casino will schedule that if you ask.
Debit Cards Are the Slowest of the Everyday Options
One to three business days, and the variance is not the casino's. A card payout is a refund-style credit pushed back down the Visa or Mastercard rails, and how quickly it appears depends entirely on how fast your issuer posts inbound credits. Some Canadian banks show it next morning. Others hold it until the next statement cycle touches the account, which is where the three-day figure comes from.
There is a quirk worth knowing: some issuers show a card payout as a reversal of an earlier transaction rather than as a new credit, which means it can appear dated to the original deposit rather than to today. The balance is right, the date reads oddly. Nothing is wrong.
If you deposited by card and want a faster payout, ask support before you request it. Where closed-loop rules allow it, they can often route the payout to Interac instead once the original deposit amount has been returned to the card. Whether that is possible depends on how much you are taking out relative to what you put in.
What Actually Slows a Payout Down
In roughly the order we see them. Four of the six are avoidable before you ever request a withdrawal.
Verification left until the payout is queued
Adds one to three business days, more if a document comes back rejected. Photograph the ID flat, in daylight, all four corners visible, and match the address on the utility bill to the address on the account character for character. A statement dated more than three months ago will be refused.
An active bonus with wagering left to clear
The welcome offer carries 35x wagering. Requesting a payout before it clears does not delay the withdrawal so much as forfeit the bonus balance and anything won from it. Check which balance you are drawing on in the cashier first.
A payout destination you have never used
Closed-loop rules mean funds return the way they came. Introducing a new method at withdrawal time triggers a separate check on that method — a wallet screenshot, a bank statement header. This is the hidden cost of depositing with Paysafecard.
Weekends and provincial holidays
Only affects the bank rails, but it affects them hard. A Friday-evening Interac request is a Tuesday arrival. Wallets and crypto do not care what day it is.
An unusually large first payout
A four-figure win on a C$20 first deposit gets a second look, and that is not unreasonable. It resolves in a day or two and it resolves faster if your documents were already on file.
A processor outage on your chosen rail
Uncommon, and usually visible as everything else working normally. The status page is the place to check before assuming your payout is stuck.
What Players Report
Timings players sent in to the desk, kept as written and dated. They are anecdotes, not statistics — but the pattern across them matches the table above, which is the point of publishing them.
"Requested C$420 to Skrill just after midnight, it was in the wallet before I got up. Moving it to my bank from Skrill took another two days, which nobody warns you about."
"First withdrawal took four days because I hadn't sent ID. Second one, same method, same amount, landed in under 48 hours. Do the documents first."
"Interac payout requested Thursday night, showed up Tuesday. Not slow exactly, just the weekend doing its thing. Amount was exactly what I asked for, no fee taken."
"Cancelled a pending withdrawal twice before letting the third one go. That cancel button is far too easy to press. Set a limit if you're anything like me."
